This product worked fine initially. However, after 24 hours it stopped working completely (recognized by the PC but no signal). It now works again but with extremely poor performance. Its range is about 10 feet from the router which defeats the purpose of being wireless. I've attempted to return the product but the seller refuses to give a refund. Buyer beware.
Updated Sept. 14, 2010: After this leaving negative feedback on this item I was contacted by the seller and offered bribes of gift certificates and more to remove my comments from Amazon. Just stay away from this company.
Update 2, Oct. 14, 2010: The seller has continued to email me begging for this negative review to be removed. Despite my requests to stop contacting me, the emails have now become harassing phone calls. Really, just stay away.

I downloaded the software and started using the wireless card. However, 30 minutes after I got a virus on my computer. I have never gotten a virus before so it was strange that as soon as I installed the wireless card and software I got the virus. Luckily, I got the virus out and try to use the card again, but was unable to get in the internet and my computer kept freezing. Once I took the wire less card out, my computer works fine. THis product is very poor quality.

Ordered the adapter based on the picture, the main reason for ordering it was for the right angle adapter end. Also noticed that the power end was 2 prong and not 3 prong which I wanted as well. When the adapter arrived it was nothing like the picture, it had a straight adapter end and it had a 3 prong plug. I complained and the vendor was very eager to make it right. After a couple of emails the lady said she confirmed that they had the correct adapter and if I would retract my neutral review she would send it to me at no charge. Agreed! I pulled my neutral review and withing 5 days I had a new package at my door. However after opening the package I discovered that it is the EXACT SAME ADAPTER that they sent the first time. Apparently she didn't 'confirm' anything. I emailed her back and she apologized and said that they didn't have the correct adapter. My stock adapter for my eeePC failed after a few years of use, so I bought this as a replacement. On the fourth use, after inserting the end into my computer, it began alternating between AC power and Battery power very rapidly. I unplugged the unit and inserted into another wall socket, same thing. I ended up taking the section of the power cord that plugs into the wall and swapping it with my stock power cord. It works so far, but most people may not have this luxury.
So now i have a working cord, composed of the adapter/netbook plugin of this product, combined with the two prong/wall socket part from my old power cord.

I bought this unit for Asus 1000HE, via Amazon. Do NOT buy it. It simply does NOT work consistently, the battery does not charge 90 % of the time. If you run the netbook plugged in to this charger, most times you are actually running off the battery. The charger heats up to a dangerous temperature intermittently.
BTW I have a factory OEM charger and it charges the same two batteries perfectly. I figure that the seller bought a batch of factory rejects; some work some don't.
